General term for crossings between states — death, harvest, density shifts.

Transition is a neutral umbrella for any major crossing in this study: leaving the body, harvest at the close of a density, moving between time/space and space/time.
Common misunderstanding
Transition is not always dramatic. Many real transitions are slow and only obvious in retrospect.
