Experience

Catalyst that has been met and integrated by the self.

Advanced definition

In this study, experience is the second half of a cycle that begins with catalyst. Catalyst is what arrives; experience is what is left after the self has actually worked with it.

Law of One context

Used to explain why two beings can live through 'the same event' and walk away with different amounts of experience — only what is metabolized counts.

Common misunderstanding

Time-in-a-situation is not automatically experience. Years of unprocessed events can yield very little.

Healthy application

Make small space — journaling, conversation, contemplation — for catalyst to become experience.
For reflection

"What recent catalyst have I lived through but not yet turned into experience?"
