Free Will Violation
Acting on another in a way that overrides their conscious choice.
Advanced definition
Any action — physical, social, psychological, or energetic — that bypasses the conscious consent of another being and directs them toward an end they did not choose.
Healthy application
Build the habit of asking, informing, and waiting. Treat consent as a discipline, not a formality.
Misuse warning
Spiritual language is often used to justify violations: 'they need this,' 'I can see what they cannot,' 'it is for their growth.'
Cautions
- Acute danger to self or others may require protective action; this is distinct from chronic override.
For reflection
"Where am I treating my view of someone's good as more important than their choice?"
